We are delighted to announce that the Rob Roy Pipe Band from Kingston, Ontario, are the first band to confirm they will be joining us at the 165th Bridge of Allan Highland Games this year. www.robroykingston.com
The Pipe Band was established in 1953 and they formed a Dancers group in 1962. They are one of only a few permanently integrated pipe band and dancers groups. In Scotland, the band and dancers have performed at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, Blair Atholl Castle, Prince’s Street Gardens in Edinburgh, the Rob Roy Visitor Centre in Callander, and they are one of the only bands that have been permitted to play inside the walls of Stirling Castle.
We look forward to welcoming this fantastic band to our Games this year. As the first band to confirm they have a very special place in our ‘Look Who’s Coming to Play 2016’ listings. We hope to fill the list up fast over the coming weeks.
